Job Description
Screen Printer Graphic Artist: Does computer digital art manipulation in support on an industrial screen printing. Operates Print designs on various metal parts with screen printing devices by performing the following duties: Prints out acetates, exposes negatives to films using an arc light Develops screens and blocks out non-essential areas using block out fluid Sets up screen printing frames Positions objects against the guides on the setup board or holding fixture of screening device and lowers screen Mixes inks according to standard Pours inks into screen frame or dips squeegee in ink and draws squeegee across screen to transfer design to object Cleans screen with solvent at end of run and when using different colors Examines printed object for defects Ability to define problems at early stages Ability to effectively respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and depth perception Especially needed in the following Desktop Publishing Programs. Corel. Adobe Illustrator & CAD.

Animal Musician
Illustrate an Animal that's a Musician.
The assignment is to create an animal musician as the subject of the illustration, at the same time examine anthropomorphism as a style.
Be creative and ambitious with your approach, think of ways to use color and shape to describe senses and sounds.
In the context of describing the musician look for ways to use visual cues as a device to advance and convey your idea.
The subjects enviroment should support the idea of the picture, it should be well composed, read well, have impact and be accurate.
